Earth Day – A Global Movement for Environmental Protection

Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya celebrated Earth Day on April 22^nd where a special assembly and week long awareness activities were applauded by Our Director Madam Ms Shashi Tyagi. Madam discussed theneed to protect the environment asked everyone to unite and follow steps towards a more sustainable future. This year, the Theme for 2025: “Our Power, Our Planet”. Focused on the urgent need to transit from non renewable to renewable energy sources and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. Various eco friendly activities were conductedfrom class 1 to 10thlike making up badges, paper bag, folders, Cloth/jute bags, articles made from single use plastic etc.Director Madam and HOS mam felicitated the winners under different categories

Poster competition for spreading awareness on zero waste and reducing carbon foot prints single plastic was also carried out and were displayed through school boards.

Highlight of the day was ‘ECO shopping’ where parents,teachers and students were apprised of this special shopping.

The whole event was meticulously planned and executed and was applauded by HOS Ma’am .

For RSV Earth Day is more than a celebration; it is a call to action. By participating in Earth Day activities and adopting eco-friendly habits, individuals contribute to the global effort to preserve the environment for future generations.
