Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya celebrated Gandhi Jayanti, the International Day of Non-Violence by conducting plethora of activities. A special and thoughtful cultural programme was also conducted to celebrate this day. Students showcased the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation through several meaningful activities conducted the theme ‘Khadi’, Make in India, Peace and Harmony.
The programme commenced by chanting Shloka and by lightening ceremonious lamp by our Honourable Chief Guest Sh.Mangat Ram Singhal ji, the Guest of Honour Sh.Lakshmi Das ji,Director Madam Ms.Shashi Tyagi,H.O.S. Madam Ms.Meenakshi Bhatt and other guests followed by melodious welcome song.
Exhibition titled as ‘Khadi Ek Vastra Nahi Vichaar Hai’ was organised by RSVIANS. The highlights of the exibition was the display of ‘Aatm Nirbhar Bharat’ which aimed the theme of ‘Make in India’. The primary students of RSV displayed the Art & Craft Gallery which included lamps, toran, paper bags and many more. The Commerce stream executed the Hand Made Heaven business startup idea by making handbags, handmade khadi outfits, face mask, soap and so on. The Computer Department displayed a presentation in IP sector by comprising some innovative ideas.
The students of Science stream executed the theme of ‘Swach Bharat’ by representing the use of renewable energy and also focused on drift from plastic to no-plastic. They focused on the use of natural and eco-friendly items. The amount of enthusiasm from the participants and the talented works of the students from class primary to XII was remarkable and was appreciated by the guests and parents.
The event was graced by our Honourable Director Madam by giving blessings to the children. She enlightened the students about the true meaning of self reliance and the importance of peace and non-violence.
Gandhiji’s life and contribution towards Indian Freedom struggle was portrayed through a thoughtful skit titled “Khadi Ek Soch” which further continued with song, dance and an audio clip from our honourable Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Damodar Das Modi Ji’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’. Thereafter a beautiful eye catching fashion show presented the theme “Khadi Ek Vastra Nahi Vichaar Hai”.
The students were falicitated by our honourable Chief Guest for their achievements. The school toppers were awarded with cash prize along along with the trophies and certificates.
The chief guest shared his knowledge and life experiences which made the students more optimistic, confident, and enthusiastic.
The programme was culminated with the Vote of Thanks by our respected H.O.S. madam.
