Mother’s Day
On May 13, 2025, to honour the unconditional love, selfless sacrifices, and divine presence of mothers in our lives, Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya conducted a heartwarming and vibrant Special Assembly on the occasion of Mother’s Day on 13th May 2025.The event commenced with a warm greeting extended to the honourable Director Madam, respected HOS Ma’am, and all beloved teachers. The compering was gracefully handled by Samaira (Class V A) and Veer Yadav (Class VI B), who kept the flow of the programme engaging and cheerful.
The assembly began with the Thought of the Day, presented by students Jayansh, Gulati, Daksh Sharma, Lavya, and Sagufa Parveen of Class VII A, setting a reflective and positive tone.A delightful dance performance on “तू कितनी अच्छी है” by Pre-School and Pre-Primary students left the audience emotional and touched. It was followed by another charming performance, “I Love My Mommy” by Class I & II, showcasing innocence and love in its purest form.Shikhar of Class VIII B delivered a heartfelt Hindi poem titled “Maa”, filled with emotion and sincerity. A melodious Sanskrit song “मम माता देवता” sung by Namish and Tanav of Class V evoked a deep sense of reverence and cultural pride.
The highlight of the event was a Skit cum Dance Performance by students of Class VII B and IX B, brilliantly portraying the multifaceted role of mothers. Students of Class VI B followed with melodious songs of love and gratitude, touching every heart present.The event featured a soul-stirring dance titled “Grace in Every Step, Love in Every Scene” – a tribute by Classes III B & IV B, bringing alive the theme of devotion and care. One of the standout acts was a powerful Yoga Performance on International Yoga Day by students of Class III to IX, emphasizing physical and mental well-being while reflecting the values of discipline and inner strength that mothers nurture in their children.
Classes III to IX showcased discipline, coordination, and holistic wellness – values mothers instil in children from a young age.Kunal of Class VII B presented a heartfelt Hindi poem titled ‘Maa Samaan Guru’, dedicated to our Honourable Director Madam.The poem beautifully portrayed her as the foundation of the school, a guiding light of values and discipline, and a true reflection of motherhood in RSV.It celebrated Madam’s excellence in both academics and administration, her role in empowering young minds, and her priceless contributions to character-building, human rights, and nation-building.
The programme concluded with a special felicitation of Director Madam by HOS Ma’am, accompanied by a bouquet and a handmade card prepared by students – a token of respect and gratitude.This special assembly was not just a celebration but a tribute to the spirit of motherhood. It successfully brought together students’ creativity, emotions, and talents while leaving the audience with warm hearts and moist eyes.
The event was a resounding success and will be fondly remembered as a touching ode to mothers everywhere.
