ONE CHILD ONE PLANT DRIVE

‘HE WHO PLANTS A TREE PLANTS A HOPE’-Lucy Larcom

Under the EXPRESSION SERIES, a “TREE PLANTATION DRIVE” was organized from 07.09.20 to 10.09.20. This drive’s main aim was to sensitize students towards the need to preserve our environment and ecology. Children planted the saplings and raised slogans to create awareness among people. They took part in  various activities like:

• skit
• song
• role play
• puppet show
• Poem
• enactment based on trees-its importance and conservation.

They even created their own vertico gardens at homes using recyclable waste. The students also

took a pledge to look after the planted saplings, plant more and more trees to save the mother earth .
