August Kranti Day
August Kranti Day Commemorated by Class XII & XI HUM
Date: 8th August 2026
To commemorate August Kranti Diwas, students of Class XII HUM and XI HUM displayed a special board in the school corridor today.
The board highlighted the significance of 8th August 1942, when Mahatma Gandhi launched the Quit India Movement with the slogan “Quit India” and “Do or Die”. It was the last major movement that forced the British to leave India.
The display included pictures of freedom fighters, important slogans, and notes on the role of students, women, and common people in the freedom struggle. The aim was to spread awareness about the sacrifices of our leaders and to inspire patriotism among students
