Bagless Day Celebration
“Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” – Albert Einstein
Under the esteemed guidance of Director Madam and HOS Ma’am, our school celebrated Bagless Day on 5th April 2025, with the objective of holistic and engaging learning experience beyond traditional classrooms. This initiative aimed to ignite curiosity, creativity, and joy among students, ensuring a day filled with meaningful and memorable activities.
The day commenced with a screening of Ramayana, a timeless epic that instilled moral values and cultural appreciation among students. This was followed by a soulful Shloka and Bhajan recitation, allowing students to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of serenity and devotion.
To stimulate intellectual curiosity, a Quiz on Ramayana was conducted, encouraging students to engage with the epic in an interactive manner. The younger students (Classes 1-3) were captivated by a Puppet Show, which brought stories to life with vivid expressions and creativity.
Post-lunch, the students participated in an invigorating Drawing Session, where they translated their imagination onto paper, showcasing their artistic talents.
The day concluded with a series of Sports Activities, promoting teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness:
Class 1: Flat race (Touch and come back)
Class 2: Collect the ball race
Class 3: Spoon and marble race
Classes 4 & 5 (Boys): Cricket
Classes 4 & 5 (Girls): Seven stones
“Play is the highest form of research.” – Albert Einstein. The sports segment not only encouraged active participation but also instilled a sense of sportsmanship and healthy competition among students.
The success of Bagless Day was a testament to the diligent efforts of our teachers and staff, who worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless and enriching experience for our young learners. The event truly embodied the spirit of experiential learning, leaving a lasting impression on every student.
