COMMUNAL HARMONY & HERITAGE WEEK 19.11.22 to 25.11.22

The Social Science Department under the able guidance of respected Director Madam Ms. Shashi Tyagi and HOS Madam Ms. Meenakshi Bhat organised the Heritage Week (for classes 1 to 5) & Communal Harmony Week ( for classes 6 to 10) from 19th November to 25th November 2022 with an aim to raise awareness among students about the diversity of India’s cultural heritage ,to sensitise them towards their role as the custodians of this cultural legacy , to foster and reinforce the strength of public harmony and national integration.
In the week-long celebrations, various activities were organised for classes- I to X with the goal of sensitising them towards India’s multi-ethnic and multicultural social fabric.

Children enthralled the audience with their performances. The special assembly came to an end with a thought provoking and heart felt message of Honourable Director Madam Ms. Shashi Tyagi. She encouraged children with her pearls of wisdom. She apprised students how they can also play a pivotal role in maintaining communal harmony by loving their classmates equally irrespective of their caste, colour, creed, and religion.

All the students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. Through these activities and competitions RSV has been able to bring together students from different groups of society under one umbrella which truly represents the essence of national integration and communal harmony.
25/11/2022 * Flag Day & Raising Funds
Every year 25th November is observed as ‘ Flag Day’ of the National Foundation for Communal Harmony (NFCH) .This fund is used by NFCH to provide financial assistance to children rendered orphan or destitute in communal, caste, ethnic or terrorist violence for their education and rehabilitation under ‘Project Assist’. Students, teachers and staff of Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya donated generously for this noble cause.
