Cyber Safety and Online Protection with the theme “Think Before You Click.

As part of Child Safety Month (1–31 July 2026), under the campaign “Surakshit Bachpan, Sashakt Bhavishya”, Week 3 (13 July to18 July) was dedicated to Cyber Safety and Online Protection with the theme “Think Before You Click.” The month-long initiative, aims to create awareness, build protective behaviours, strengthen reporting mechanisms, and promote a safe school environment for every child.
The activities were conducted under the able guidance of our respected Director Madam.Her constant encouragement and support inspired students to participate enthusiastically and learn valuable cyber safety skills.
Keeping in view the key messages of safe use of social media, protecting personal information, cyberbullying prevention, and digital footprint awareness, a series of engaging activities was conducted for students of Classes I to VIII.
● Class I: A Talk Show on “Cyber Security and Online Protection” introduced students to basic online safety practices, such as safeguarding personal information, seeking parental permission before using digital platforms, and informing trusted adults if they encountered anything uncomfortable online.

● Class II: A Cyber Safety Story Session helped students understand safe internet practices through an age-appropriate story, emphasizing the importance of protecting personal information and avoiding strangers online.

● Class III: Students enthusiastically participated in a Storytelling and Poster Making Activity, creatively expressing important cyber safety messages while learning responsible online behaviour.

● Class IV: A Poster Making Activity, followed by an interactive discussion, reinforced concepts such as online privacy, strong passwords, safe browsing, and respectful digital communication.

● Class V: Through an Interactive Awareness Session and a Poster Making Competition, students enhanced their understanding of cyber safety, cyberbullying prevention, secure passwords, and responsible internet usage.

● Class VI: Students actively participated in Creating Strong Passwords Activity, strengthening their awareness of online security and digital responsibility.

● Class VII: Students participated in activities on identifying real and fake websites, discussing common cyber threats, and writing five essential cyber safety measures to encourage safe online practices.

● Class VIII: A Child Safety and POCSO Act Quiz enhanced students’ awareness of personal safety, online protection, trusted adults, and the legal safeguards provided under the POCSO Act.
The activities witnessed enthusiastic participation across all classes and successfully empowered students with the knowledge and skills required to become responsible, alert, and safe digital citizens.HOS Ma’am appreciated the students’ enthusiastic participation, creativity, and understanding of cyber safety concepts, encouraging them to continue practising safe and responsible digital behaviour in their daily lives.
