NAVRATRI & DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION

The vibrant festival of Dussehra was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 29th September 2025 at Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya through a Special Morning Assembly that beautifully blended devotion, learning, and cultural performances.The programme not only highlighted the victory of good over evil but also filled the hearts of everyone with festive spirit and moral inspiration.

The event was skillfully compered by Kartik (Class IX-B) and Yashika (Class XI-Commerce), who kept the audience engaged with their lively anchoring.

The celebration began on a spiritual note with the Morning Prayer and chanting of the Gayatri Mantra by the school choir. This created an aura of peace and devotion. Soon after, Sumit (Class VII-A) shared the Thought of the Day, reminding everyone that true success lies in defeating our inner negativity. Anay (Class XI-Commerce) then beautifully explained the Significance of Dussehra, stressing on the values of courage, truth, and righteousness.

The cultural segment started with a sweet poem on Dussehra by Kabir (Class II-A).The little ones of Class I added festive sparkle with their lively Navratri Dandiya dance.The stage then lit up with a graceful group dance “Dussehra Ki Mahima” by Class II, followed by a melodious song presented by Class IV, which spread joy and festive cheer across the assembly ground.

One of the most impactful moments came when Krishna (Class VI-B) recited the stirring Hindi poem “Ravan Ab Bhi Zinda Hai”, reminding everyone that evils like dishonesty, hatred, and arrogance still exist in society and must be conquered with goodness. Adding more colour and rhythm, Classes III & IV performed the energetic group dance “Dhak Baja Kashor Baja”, which left the audience tapping their feet.

The highlight of the assembly was the grand Dance Drama – “Reliving the Epic Saga of Ramayana”, performed by the Primary and Middle Classes. The students brought alive the timeless tale of Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana with captivating expressions, dialogues, and choreography. The audience was spellbound as the epic unfolded before their eyes.

A proud moment for the school was when our Esteemed Director Madam presented the Best Teacher Award to Ms. Sudha, Computer Science Teacher. She had originally received this honour from Atal Sahodaya during the Guru Vandana Samaroh for her outstanding contribution to Education.

To conclude the programme, Honourable Director Madam blessed the students with her Words of Wisdom, inspiring them to uphold values of truth, humility, and compassion in their daily lives. Finally, the assembly ended with the National Anthem sung by the school choir, filling everyone with pride and patriotism.

The Dussehra Special Assembly was not just a celebration, but a meaningful reminder to always let goodness triumph in our lives.
