World Heritage Day Celebrations
18-April-2025
On April 18, 2025, Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya proudly celebrated World Heritage Day with the students of Class 3, under the esteemed guidance and blessings of our respected Head of School Ma’am and Honourable Director Madam. The celebration aimed to instill in students a deep appreciation for India’s rich cultural and historical legacy, and to raise awareness about the importance of preserving world heritage for future generations.
The celebration featured two engaging and creative activities:
Activity 1: Heritage Tree
In this activity, students designed a tree. Instead of leaves, they pasted pictures of various Indian heritage sites on the branches. Each tree beautifully reflected the diversity and richness of India’s cultural roots. This visual representation helped students understand how heritage sites form the foundation of our national identity.
Activity 2: Know Your Heritage
In this research-based activity, each student was assigned a unique heritage site—either from India or around the world. They wrote informative lines about the site and pasted a corresponding picture. This task not only enhanced students’ research and presentation skills but also deepened their understanding of global and national historical landmarks.
The event was conducted with the heartfelt support and encouragement of our Director Madam and HOS Ma’am, whose blessings and vision made these activities possible. Their kind appreciation of the students’ efforts was truly motivating and added great value to the celebration.
The day was a wonderful blend of learning and creativity. Students participated with great enthusiasm and gained valuable insights into the importance of protecting and respecting cultural heritage.
