Honouring the Dignity of Labour

Labor Day is observed every year on 1st May. This day proclaims the importance of labor.

The Labour Day celebration at Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya was a heartfelt tribute to the hardworking individuals who form the backbone of our society. The event began with a serene Morning Prayer and chanting of the Gayatri Mantra by the school choir, creating a calm and spiritual atmosphere for the day ahead.

Pranav Bisht and Natanshi of Class-V took on the role of overall comperes, seamlessly guiding the audience through the various segments of the programme. Veer of Class-V B shared a Thought of the Day, encouraging everyone to appreciate the value of labour and the impact it has on our lives.

The performances by students from Class V A and V B, including a Mime Act and a heart touching poem, beautifully portrayed the trials and triumphs of labourers. The dance performance by Class III A and III B captured the essence of hard work and dedication, inspiring the audience with their energy and enthusiasm.

Class V B came together for a melodious Group Song, symbolizing unity and solidarity among workers. The Group Dance by Class I students exuded gratitude towards all labourers, expressing appreciation for their tireless efforts.

Utkarsh and Jeet’s (Class-VI A) tribute to the school workers and helpers highlighted the importance of recognizing and honouring the dignity of labour.

The event culminated with the Honourable Director Madam’s blessings & words of wisdom, emphasizing the significance of respecting and acknowledging the contributions of workers in our school & society.

Today’s special assembly was a poignant reminder of the hard work and dedication of individuals across all sectors. The performances, speeches, and acts showcased talent, creativity, and a deep sense of gratitude towards those who work tirelessly to make our lives better. It was a truly memorable and meaningful event that left a lasting impact on all who attended.
