Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya on 24 April, 2023 very aptly celebrated ‘National Panchayati Raj
Day’ under the able guidance and motivation of our honourable Director Madam Ms.Shashi
Tyagi and respected HOS Madam Ms. Meenakshi Bhat. It was a collaborative effort to bring
students of grades III to XII together and organised a special assembly.
Highlights of the events were:

● Thought of the Day by Vaibhavi (Class-X A)
● Article about Decentralisation by Nancy (Class-X B)
● Poem by Rukmani (Class- X A)
● Skit -“Hardas Gaon Me Aaj Panchayat Karegi Kaaj” by students of Classes III to IX
● Backdrop of Gram Panchayat prepared by XII HUMANITIES AND X B
The most significant aspect of this day is the diversification of the political power in the
hands of common men.Students were apprised that how Panchayati Raj works for the
betterment of the rural people and it helps in transforming Rural India into a better place to
live.
