Peer Support Pledge and School Safety Audit Week

Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya, Gandhi Nidhi, Hastsal successfully observed Peer Support and School Safety Week from 20 July to 25 July 2026, with enthusiastic participation from students across the school.
During the week, students of Classes I to VIII took the Peer Support Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and respectful school environment. The pledge encouraged students to be kind, empathetic and responsible, to support their classmates in times of need, to stand against bullying and discrimination, and to promptly report any safety concerns to teachers or school authorities. The activity reinforced the values of compassion, cooperation and mutual respect among students.
As part of the week’s activities, students of Classes VI to VIII also participated in a School Safety Audit under the guidance of their teachers. Working in small groups, the students carefully observed various areas of the school campus, including classrooms, corridors, staircases, playgrounds, laboratories, washrooms and entry/exit points. They identified potential safety concerns, assessed emergency preparedness and suggested practical measures to further strengthen safety standards within the school.
The safety audit provided students with an opportunity to develop a sense of responsibility, teamwork, observation and civic awareness while actively contributing to making their school environment safer for everyone.
The initiative was highly successful and reflected the school’s commitment to promoting student leadership, safety awareness and a culture of peer support. Such activities empower students to become active partners in building a secure, caring and inclusive learning environment.
