WORLD PASSWORD DAY
Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya Celebrates World Password Day with Enlightening Assembly Activities
On the occasion of World Password Day, RSV organized a special morning assembly aimed at spreading awareness about the significance of strong passwords in our digital lives. The event, held on the school grounds, was filled with informative and engaging performances by students from various classes.
The assembly began with an insightful presentation on cyber crimes that occur due to weak passwords, highlighting real-life cases where individuals and organizations suffered due to poor password practices. This was followed by a “Thought of the Day” reflecting the theme of digital safety and responsibility.
To further emphasize the importance of password security, a student recited a poem on the importance of passwords, using creativity and rhyme to deliver a powerful message. The assembly also featured an interactive discussion on how to check the strength of a password and demonstrated how long it would take a hacker to crack different types of passwords—from common ones like “123456” to complex combinations using letters, numbers, and symbols.
A major highlight of the event was a well-performed Nukkad Natak (street play), which captured the audience’s attention with its impactful storytelling. The skit portrayed the risks of using weak or repeated passwords and introduced the concepts of using Password Managers and Vaults to safely store and manage passwords.
Through these meaningful activities, students not only learned about the threats of the digital world but also understood the essential steps to protect their online identity.
In conclusion, the celebration of World Password Day at RSV School was both educational and inspiring. It empowered students with practical knowledge about cybersecurity and reinforced the message that a strong password is the first line of defense in the digital age.
The efforts of the students were highly appreciated by Director Madam, who applauded the creativity and relevance of the performances. She said, “In today’s digital world, awareness is the key to safety. I am proud to see our students taking the lead in educating others.”
HOS Ma’am also expressed her admiration, adding, “The way our students presented such a technical topic in an engaging and understandable manner is truly commendable. This shows that learning, when connected to real life, becomes powerful and lasting.”
Their words motivated the students and staff alike to continue promoting safe digital habits in everyday life.
