A special assembly dedicated to Mother’s Day was organised by Gandhi Sadan on 8th May 2026 at Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya with great enthusiasm, warmth and gratitude. The programme was conducted to honour the unconditional love, sacrifice and selfless care of mothers, who play the most significant role in shaping the lives of their children.
The assembly commenced with the warm welcome of the Honourable Director Madam by the anchors, Samaira and Harshil of Class VI-A. The event then proceeded with the Morning Prayer, thought and positive affirmations.
The cultural programme added vibrancy and joy to the celebration. The tiny tots of primary wing mesmerised the audience with their adorable group dance performance.
Nancy of Class X-A recited a heartfelt poem dedicated to mothers, which deeply touched the audience. Several energetic and colourful group dance performances were presented by students of Classes VI to XII.
The programme concluded with inspiring words and blessings by the Honourable Director Madam, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and emphasised the importance of respecting and valuing mothers. The assembly ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem.
