WORLD PASSWORD DAY

Rashtra Shakti Vidyalaya celebrated World Password Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from students of Classes IV to XII. The event aimed to spread awareness about cybersecurity, digital safety, and the importance of strong passwords in today’s fast-growing digital world.

World Password Day highlights the need to protect our digital identity and personal information from cyber threats. With increasing online activities, strong passwords have become the first line of defence for securing digital assets, social media accounts, emails, banking details, and personal data.

The school organized a series of exciting and informative activities including poster making, slogan writing, debates, discussions, video making, and video showcasing sessions. Students expressed their creativity and awareness through impactful slogans and colourful posters promoting safe online practices.

A special highlight of the celebration was the awareness campaign conducted by the Class XII students. Through engaging videos and presentations, they explained how password verification helps in protecting digital assets and how digital security measures are now being strongly emphasized and made mandatory by the Government of India. They also demonstrated smart ways to create strong passwords, identify cyber risks, and check digital security to stay safe online.

The debates and discussions encouraged students to think critically about online privacy, cybercrime, and responsible digital behaviour. The celebration successfully inspired students to become alert, informed, and responsible digital citizens, making World Password Day both educational and impactful.
